I was finally able to get a simple example working on Apache Karaf using container-managed Enterprise OSGi JPA.

Playing catchup with last week's Bean Valdiation specification release (1.1.0.Beta3) we are happy to make the following releases available as well:

Weld 2.0.0.Beta3 has been released. This is another step towards CDI 1.1 but mainly a bug fixing release. As promised, the reference guide has been updated to reflect recent changes in Weld. See the release notes for details.

Past week I returned from my trip to Bengaluru, where we had one of our great developers conferences.

HHH-7527 will address Hibernate ORM in OSGi environments.

Hibernate Search 4.2.0.Final is ready for download; grab the distribution from Sourceforge or use the Maven artifacts.

With first CapeDwarf release out of the way, it’s now time to address initial user issues. Since setting up CapeDwarf environment has become so simple -- just unzip the distribution, and CapeDwarf already running on OpenShift, we got a few useful feedbacks; keep ‘em coming!

Hibernate Search v.4.2.0.CR1 has just been released. Mostly bug fixes and performance improvements but also an easier way to deploy in JBoss AS 7 or JBoss EAP 6.
