After successful Google I/O and Red Hat Summit presentations, and some vacation, it's finally time to do a new release.
It has been a couple of weeks since Bean Validation 1.1 has gone final. In the mean time, the Java EE 7 platform spec has been finalized as well, so it's about time to have a closer look at what you can expect from these updates in relation to Bean Validation and its reference implementation, Hibernate Validator 5.
We're in Boston for JUDCon and Red Hat Summit; Emmanuel is on stage coding live a nice new demo using Hibernate Search to combine full-text with geographic filtering. It will be contributed to JDF quickstarts but you can already get the sources.
Weld 2.0.1.Final
Weld 2.0.1.Final has been released. This is mainly a bug-fixing release with 20 issues fixed since the previous one. For details, see the release notes.
