When Pete handed over the Weld helm he said I should blog a lot. :-) As much as I would like to do this, it’s actually impossible to squeeze massive blogging into my working hours. But of course that doesn’t mean I won’t blog completely. Here for a change, not being MC related, is my first blog whose theme is Weld/CDI based. ;-)
Hibernate and multi-tenancy webinar
On February 16th I will be doing a presentation on multi-tenacy and Hibernate as part of the JBoss Developer Webinar Series. Some background can be found in my earlier Multi-tenancy in Hibernate blog entry. In the presentation I will cover approaches to handling multi-tenancy in Hibernate today as well as touching on the planned support upcoming in Hibernate 4.

A number of people have been asking how to create a custom scope, so I wanted to write a short guide. Unfortunately there isn't a universal solution, so the best I can do is offer up a number of guidelines and give you some questions to consider before embarking on the implementation.
