As others have mentioned JBoss World is coming up, and I just wanted to a highlight a few talks that will be of interest to you Seam aficionados.

The waiting is over. Seam 2.2 is now officially ready!

UPDATE: The files are now back on SourceForge, but the links take you to the general JBoss page - search for Seam or Web Beans.

The Seam team is happy to report that Seam 2.2.0.CR1 is now out. This release gives us a chance to upgrade Seam to the latest versions of a few libraries that are core to Seam. These changes were big enough to warrant bumping minor version numbers.

I just submitted the Proposed Final Draft of JSR-299, Contexts and Dependency Injection, to the JCP. Download it here[1]. We're gearing up for a final release in August, in time for the Java EE 6 release in September. Thanks to everyone who put so much effort into this!

Thanks to the hard work of the entire Seam community, Seam 2.1.2 is now out and ready to go. Although 2.1.2 is largely about bug fixing, we do have a few new features for you guys. .
