I'm happy to announce the IronJacamar 1.0.0.Beta5 release.

It's time for another Seam release! This one wasn't actually planned (we had hoped to go straight to final after CR2), however with a number of last minute API changes I thought it would be best to run Seam through the testing wringer one last time before we put our stamp of approval on it. The good news is that the 3.0 Final release is very close behind, and if all goes to plan it will be out before the end of the month just like I promised.

I am happy to announce that last week we officially kicked off the beta stream for AS7. This will be a very rapid biweekly release schedule up until we hit CR. So expect to see a lot coming from us very quickly.

Moving from Alpha1 to Beta1, I am happy to announce the release of Hibernate Search 3.4.0.Beta1. The release includes an upgrade to Hibernate Core 3.6.2 and the usual bug fixes (see Jira release notes for all the gory details).

We had an intense two weeks in the Hibernate Search team (well, especially Hardy) while designing the Faceting API. Hardy worked hard one the implementation (not a trivial piece of code in and of itself) but the harder part was the iterative process we did to refine the API:
