I'm a JBoss core developer at Red Hat, and the AeroGear project lead. I previously lead the RichFaces project, and have been involved in many other open source projects such as Seam, and JBoss AS. I'm passionate about promoting open source, community, and standards. I server as a W3C representative for Red Hat, and have been part of multiple Java Community Process (JCP) specifications, currently on the JSON API expert group. I have been architecting and developing enterprise applications and projects for over fourteen years, specializing in mobile device integration, web tier frameworks, UI design, and integration.

On May 7th at both 9:00 AM EST and again at 2:00 PM EST we will be having a webinar on how to use RichFaces and JBoss Developer Studio to develop Rich Internet Applications (RIA).
RichFaces 3.3.1.CR1 has been uploaded to the JBoss repository. We are on track for the early May GA release. Then we are on to RichFaces 4.0 more to come shortly.
On Thursday, April 9th I will be presenting an introduction and preview of Java Server Faces 2.0 at the New England Java Users Group (NEJUG). The talk will be given at Sun's Burlington Massachusetts campus.
RichFaces 3.3.1.BETA3 has been uploaded to the JBoss repository. We are getting close to the release and continue to stabilize the code base on the way to final release.

I'll cover the basics of Seam and whats in store for the future. If the demo gods are smiling I will also be showing off seam-gen and reverse engineering a CRUD application as well.
