Help

3.5.3-Final is a maintenance release of mainly minor bug fixes. Some fixes of particular interest are:

  • HHH-5098 would cause an AssertionFailure when Entity Manager builds the metamodel for an entity that has a parameterized collection.
  • HHH-3220 would cause an AssertionFailure when a StatelessSession is used to execute a query that requires joins that exceed the maxfetchdepth setting.
  • HHH-4036 would lead to an exception when an entity subclass is mapped with an entity name.

It's already there: https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/groups/public/org/hibernate/hibernate-core/3.5.3-Final/ If you're still using repostitory.jboss.org/maven2, stop and use http(s)://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/groups/public

Thanks for the tip -- didn't know they changed the location of the repository. One problem however, the index on the new JBoss Nexus repository is stale. It is dated April 16 and does not contain the new version of hibernate. Check it out:

http://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/groups/public/.index/nexus-maven-repository-index.properties

I am currently struggling to get my Nexus proxy repo for Jboss to do the Right Thing and find 3.5.3!

It'll never find it because the index is stale. But just jam 3.5.3-Final into your POM and it'll download it just fine. And THEN you can search for it ;-).

Hey JBoss -- please think about reindexing your repo on a nightly or weekly basis!
