No breaking news for this release, we are quietly moving to the candidate release phase.

Moving from Alpha2 to Beta1, I am happy to announce the release of Hibernate Search 4.0.0.Beta1. For a full list of changes refer to the Jira release notes. Let's look at some of the changes in detail though.
Continuing on the Hibernate Search 4 rails, we have just released Hibernate Search 4.0.0 Alpha2. It's the usual lot of bug fixes but also contains some interesting new features
made possible by the refactoring started in the 4 series.
While our focus has been on the exciting new improvements in Hibernate Search 4, since the release of the last stable release 3.4.0.Final we had much interesting feedback from the community, including bugreports and patches.
The Hibernate team is pleased to announce Hibernate Search 3.4 which comes with couple of new features most notably faceting: we are continuing the trend of 3.3 where the focus was on simplifying queries). But the bulk of the work has been around performance optimization, you should see the benefits in your applications especially when the domain model is getting complex.
