If you are near Neuchatel, Switzerland next week then we are having our first meeting in JBUG: Neuchatel at the Red Hat/JBoss offices in Neuchatel, Wednesday 21st September 2011.

The topic of the first meeting is JBUG Neuchatel Intro and AS 7.

You can see the schedule here and leave a comment if you plan on showing up or are interested in future meetups at Neuchatel and surrounding area.

For this 20th anniversary of the podcast we have Mark Proctor and Michael Anstis from the Drools team on to talk about the recently released Drools 5.2.

We cover the latest news from JBoss Community and then get to talk about Drools history, what a rules engine is good for and Mark Proctor gets to answer to Mike Brock's allegations from the last episode.

You can get the episode from the Asylum website.

Enjoy!

This time we are doing a very special episode of the Asylum podcast.

To understand the podcast it is good to have seen the video of the keynote.

It gives a rare view behind the scenes of how the team behind the JBoss World 2011 Keynote created and made the whole demo work.

Emmanuel and I recorded the podcast in his hotel room in Boston during JBoss World together with Manik Surtani, Jay Balunas, Jason Greene, Mike Brock and Sanne Grinovero.

It's filled with a lot of jokes and laughter and in between a lot of good technical content about the keynote and even some glimpses into how it is to be a developer in and at JBoss/Red Hat.

You can get the episode from the Asylum website.

Don't forget to view the video of the keynote first :)

Enjoy!

A few weeks ago at JUDCon Emmanuel and I sat down and talked with Mark Little during a live recording of an Asylum podcast.

Mark Little got to talk about JBoss Everywhere, AS 7, Ceylon, the JCP and its JSRs, JBoss Development methodology, beers and why transactions matters.

Thanks to all from the live JUDCon audience and those who asked question via @jbossasylum Twitter account to provide input to our questions.

You can get the episode from the Asylum website.

Enjoy!

If you haven't yet signed up for JUDCon now is time to do it. Especially since Emmanuel Bernard and I will be doing a live recording at the event with Mark Little, The Technical Head Honcho of JBoss honcho as our special guest.

If you got questions you would like him to answer, let us know in the comments and we'll do what we can to get him to answer them.

Another option is that you get a ticket for JUDCon and shout it to us during the recording.

Besides the opportunity to heckle us there is a lot of great presentations and hacking planned for two days by both JBoss employees and external contributors.

See you there!
