It looks like I'll be doing a series of presentations in Brazil next month - the rough schedule is:
- May 8th - JBossInBossa conference in Sao Paulo
- May 12th - JUG in Brasilia (tentative)
- May 13th - JUG in Rio de Janeiro (tentative)
Currently only the Sao Paulo event is confirmed, so if you can make that, I would strongly recommend you attend!
We would like to know what you want to hear about:
- Seam 3 Overview and Roadmap
- An overview of Java EE 6
- CDI Technical Deep dive
- Test Driven Development with Java EE 6
- JSF 2 overview, highlighting a few features

Do you guys ever come out to Southern California?? Can't beat the weather...
Any URL giving more information about this event ?
I'll follow up with more info on all the events once I have it - I'm waiting on the Red Hat Brazil guys to pass it on to me :-)
It's working for me right now...
If you have a local JUG or conference, then pass the contact info on to us - we can pass it to the guy who organizes JUG tours for North America.
Hi Pete,
Some resources/presentations on building modular applications with Weld/Seam3 would be nice. Like a how-to on creating maven project, creating business modules (accounting, sales, payment providers, etc.), etc.
I'm confirmed on your presentation in Sao Paulo (JBossInBossa). I'm wondering though, which topic would be more interesting. If only we could choose 2 :-)
We (me and the team I'm working with) are developing a JEE framework using the brand new released CDI Weld, but on the other side, an overview over Seam 3 sounds extremely intersting! hmmm...
Well... we are going to choose it carefully...
